Resolving The HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Printer Offline Issue

  • Get the HP Print and Scan Doctor application on your computer.
  • Launch the program. Click on Start and select your printer’s model name.
  • Proceed with the instructions displayed on the program screen. If the same issue persists, try following the below steps.
  • Turn ON the HP Officejet 4650 printer and remove the power cable.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Power on the computer and the 123.hp.com/oj4650 printer after a few seconds.
  • Set the default printing source on your computer.
  • Get the latest driver from the Internet and re-install the printer software.

Detailed Instructions For Resolving The OfficeJet Pro 8710 Printer Offline Issue

  • Switch OFF the printer and plug-out the USB cable. Make sure the USB cable you are using is not damaged or broken. The HP Print and Scan Doctor tool can be very much helpful in this case.
  • Download the application on your computer and install it. Launch the program and click on Start. Choose your HP Officejet 4650 printer’s name on the next screen. Update the application if you get to see a prompt.
  • Turn OFF the printer if it is turned on and plug the power cable out from the printer’s rear after 10 seconds. Then, switch OFF the computer.
  • Connect the power cable back to the printer’s rear and turn ON the printer by pressing the Power button, if it does not power ON automatically. If connected in wireless mode, restart the router.
  • Power ON the computer. Try deleting the HP Officejet 4650 printer software from your computer.
  • Go to the Devices and Printers folder on your Windows computer and right-click on your printer model. Choose the Set as Default Printer option.
  • Update the printer’s firmware if the above solution does not work. You can update it either from the printer’s control panel or from the computer too. To perform it from the control panel, tap the HP ePrint icon and press the Settings icon.
  • Choose the Product Update option. The printer will automatically begin the update process. If this did not help, try uninstalling the whole printer software and re-install it again.
  • Open the Programs and Features on your Windows and locate the HP Software. Right-click on the particular HP Officejet 4650 printer programs and click on Uninstall or Delete.
  • Get the latest software from the 123.hp.com/oj4650 Internet.
