You can connect the HP Officejet 4650 printer to your computer device through the built-in Wireless function, AirPrint, HP Auto Wireless Connect, HP Wireless Direct, and the Bluetooth application. Turn on the Wi-Fi feature on your HP Officejet 4650 printer and computer. Power on your router and connect both devices to it.

CONNECT YOUR HP PRINTER AND COMPUTER USING THE BLUETOOTH FEATURE

  • Link the HP Officejet 4650 printer to a reliable power source and switch it on.
  • Activate the Bluetooth feature under the HP Officejet 4650 printer’s Settings menu.
  • Switch on the computer you use to print.
  • Enable the Bluetooth function and wait until it turns on.
  • Click the Scan nearby devices option on the computer’s screen.
  • Check the list of available Bluetooth devices and select the desired one.
  • Perform Pairing and ensure that the passcodes on both the devices match.
  • Start printing after the connection initializes successfully.

USE THE WIRELESS SETUP WIZARD TO BUILD A WIRELESS CONNECTION

  • Install the driver files of your HP printer before initializing the wireless setup process using the installation disc. Else, obtain the drivers using the download link provided on this website.
  • Open the Control Panel settings on your printer after turning it on. Go to the bottom and select the Wireless Settings menu. Select the Wireless Setup Wizard option and halt for a few seconds.
  • The Setup Wizard initializes the HP Officejet 4650 printer’s Wi-Fi. After it activates, it begins to search for the available networks and displays them on the printer’s control panel.
  • Power up your router that is connected to a Wireless Access Point and ensure that the WAP has an active internet connection. Check the internet connection speed by linking the router to a mobile device.
  • Deactivate all the other wireless networks within the printer’s Wi-Fi range in order to avoid connection problems. If the auto-connect mode is enabled, the HP Officejet 4650 printer bridges with your wireless network automatically.
  • In case the auto-connect mode is disabled or not applicable, a list of available networks displays on the HP Officejet 4650 printer’s control panel. Revise the list and select the desired network.
  • If your network is protected with an encryption key (WPA/WEP key), get the details of the network password from the router’s manual. Provide the password in the dialog box and touch OK.
  • After the wireless network connection sets up successfully, the printer displays a notification stating that the connection is successful, and the printer’s Wireless light turns into blue color.
  • Load the printer’s input tray with a stack of genuine papers. Navigate to the Setup menu under the Settings menu on your printer. Surf through the menu and select the Network Setup option.
  • Tap OK on the pop-up window, when prompted. Pick the Print Network Configuration Page option from the listing. Select OK and the HP Officejet 4650 printer prints the network information page.
