HP Envy 4520 wifi direct password

The HP Envy 4520 printer can be connected to a wireless network by entering the wireless password on the printer’s panel when prompted. You can obtain this password from your Internet service provider in case you lost it.

How to connect the printer to a wireless connection?

  • Connect the power cable to the wireless router and turn it ON.
  • Make sure the activity light is blinking on the device.
  • If not, call your service operator and then proceed with the printer connection.
  • On the printer’s control panel, tap the Wireless icon in the menu.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Choose your network name from the list of available networks.
  • Enter the network password for authentication.
  • When prompted, enter the required details and touch Connect or OK.

How to connect the printer to a computer wirelessly?

  • You need to install the printer driver on the computer to connect to the HP Envy 4520 printer. The driver is included in the software installation CD that comes along with the printer. The disc will contain all the printer files required to set up the printer.
  • Load the CD into the CD drive of your computer. The installation setup wizard will open automatically on your computer. If it does not open, then go to the CD drive location on your computer.
  • Double-click on the installation file to execute the setup. You will be prompted to choose the language to proceed further.
  • Select your preferred language and then choose your current region. Set the place correctly. Do not enter your native place(if different from the current region).
  • Agree to the terms and conditions of the driver installation by clicking on OK. After the connection, you can proceed with the driver installation.
  • There is no used of taking a USB cable if you are using a wireless connection. All you need is the network credentials of your router. Connecting a USB cable during wireless setup will not complete the connection establishment.
  • When the connection becomes stable, connect the router to the computer using a wireless connection.
  • Ensure that you enter the correct password of the network to begin the connection. Press OK after entering the network details.
  • Click on Finish after the driver installation processes. Try printing a test page after connecting the printer to a wireless network to ensure your connection is successful.
  • Make sure you have connected to both the printer and the computer to the same wireless network.
