HP Laserjet 4200 How to print on both side
The HP Laserjet 4200 printer can print on both the sides automatically thanks to the ADF feature present in it. We have provided the set of instructions in a simple way for the user to understand and perform duplex printing without any other help. Instructions for manual duplex printing are also given below.
Quick guide for duplex printing using HP HP Laserjet 4200 printer
- Open the document you want to print using the document-viewing application.
- Click File on the Menu bar and click on Print.
- Choose your printer from the list. Click on Properties or Preferences.
- Press the Finishing tab from the upcoming window that appears.
- Tick the checkbox ‘Print on both sides’ box.
- Click OK. The printer will begin to print on the printer will begin to print on the first side of the page.
- Remove the page that is printed from the output tray and reloads it into the input tray in such a way that the printed side faces up.
- Press OK on the printer’s control panel to print the next page.
Detailed instructions for printing on both sides of a page using the HP Laserjet 4200 printer
- Power ON the printer and wait until it is silent. Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed. Pull the paper input tray out and load enough paper into it.
- Turn your computer on. Now open the document that you want to print and click the File menu in the software application using which the document was opened.
- Click the Print option and select the printer’s name from the list of printers displayed on the Print window.
- Click the Properties tab displayed on the right of the Print window. Now select the Finishing tab on the top menu bar. Check the ‘Print on both sides’ box under the Document Options tab and click OK.
- The printer will begin to print the first side of the page. Once the first side is printed, remove the printed page from the output tray. Place the page in the input tray such that the printed page faces up.
- Press OK on the printer’s control panel. The printer will now start printing on the other side of the page. For another method, follow the below mentioned steps.
- On your Windows computer, enter devices in the search bar. Select Devices and Printers from the list of results. Now, click on Printer Properties. Change the Duplex Unit as Installed which is present below the Device Settings tab. You have to be the admin to perform these functions.
- You need to install the latest driver on your system to activate this feature. Open the document or photo you wish to print. Click on the File menu and press Print.
- Set the name of the printer from the list. Press on Printer Properties or Print Preview whichever is available in your application. Now, click on Preferences.
- You will see the print settings on the next tab. Click on Print on Both sides or Two-sided printing whichever is present. You will find that option under the Printing shortcut.
- If the print doesn’t happen, check whether the duplex printing accessory is fit perfectly or not.
